The person I'm writing about is my uncle Cedric Diggins.

The focus I would like to distinguish is how important is education to my uncle and how it helped him or didn't help him get to where he is in life.

    Hi Josh,

    This is a great start. You have IDed your subject and have made an assumption or assertion. What you need to do now is talk to your Uncle Cedric about how important education is and how it may have helped/or did not help him in life.
